Visiting home

We headed to my parents house on and off between Joshs parents house. And my first day there I got to business with my sister Tera on her room. It had been bothering me for about 2 years almost. So we went to get some paint and we plunged into it. She did all walls a nice sandy cream and we did a striped accent wall behind her bed (red, darker red, grey, white and the cream) I think it turned out very well! Love it! I latter made her some matching curtains. Came together just right.

Erika and I took the boys to Jump street.
Erika captured this action shot of me... LOLLL!!!

We went to Chic fi la (this was prob the 5th time LOL)

Snow cones!

Erika acually lives in Florida. And she came down her b-day weekend and suprised us all!! Only my dad knew. Tera and I were at Joanns (for awhile, like 2ish hours) and we got a call that my dad wanted to bring us all out to lunch. So we headed back. And walked throug the door to see Erika. It was sooo nice getting to be with all my sisters! What a great suprise! This was at Garicias (mexican food) on Erikas bday, the Fishes came with us.

Grandpa knepp (my dad) brought Ethan fishing one day. He did not catch anything. But we heard he had a lot more fun casting and recasting.

We had such a great visit with my family. Too many memories even to write. Icecream man, splash pad, movies, chic fi la, going to church, snowcones, swimming, suprise visit from Erika, fishing, savers!!!, thrift shop finds, stocking up on clothes, eating moms dinners, reading stories at night with Ethan, mom rocking Logan to sleep, Driving Tera and Tashas car with them (they think I drive toooo slow), pictures, memories, laughs, We miss you all~

Spending time in Chandler with the Olsons

We are so blessed to have such great family in AZ. And I am personally blessed to have such great in laws. We spent half our time at my parents house in Glendale and the other half in Chandler with Joshs family in Chandler. They are about 45 mins from each other. But it was soo great having all the family in one state!

Grandma Olson got to meet Logan for the first time :) He enjoyed smiling and squealing the whole time with everyone.

Auntie Erin enjoyed seeing and spoiling the boys

Great Grandma Johnson recently moved close to Joshs parents house. So she got to come over a lot. Logan always fell asleep in her arms with her "byeya bye" song. So sweet.

we went to Organ Stop Pizza. Never been but its super cool. Its a huge organ and tasty pizza. This guy sits there and plays requested songs. Then the oragan plays and different affects happne like lights and bubbles. Erin requested Let it go (frozen movie) for Ethan. And he played it. :)

Joshs parents have a pool and Ethan enjoy utilizing it. He could prob swim everyday all day if he could. Towards the end of our visit he swam a few times without anything. But he is very daring so we had to have a close eye on him.

Micah joined the Olson clan houshold. He is attending IBC. Ethan was glad to have him around.

We had such a great time visiting with Joshs family. I am so glad we got the opportunity to go out and visit them. And for them to see the boys. We were all spolied and we are so thankful for everything they did for us.

Summer Time recap--- Our flight to AMERICA

So much has happened since my last post. It has been a busy summer!
My sister Erika came and visited in the end of June, my mom headed back home end of May. Then we had the 4th of July festivities. Then end of July Josh headed off to the states for training. And we decided together that it would be good fro the boys and I to head to AZ to visit the family.

So we headed to base Wed July 30th early in the am. We had already signed up for the base plane. Its all by standby by so we waited. shortly after we got called up and we got on. :) America here we come. :)  Josh headed to the states the next day, so it worked out well.

We took the rotator (base plane) first it stopped in germany which is like an hourish flight. We had a short layover there. Then we headed to the states, baltimore. That flight was 8.5 hours long. Not going to lie, it was pretty nuts with Ethan. Hardest part was it was day time the whole trip so he did NOT sleep. Also I didnt bring his carseat onto the plane. So he enjoyed unbuckling and buckling his seat belt for: his pillow, his car, a cracker he dropped, his blanket, need to pee, need to pee again, need to pee... wait you just peed twice..., just to stand up, just to be annoying, look it clicks when I take this off. ..... o.O

Buuuuut we made it to Baltimore. We took a shuttle to a nearby hotel for free and stayed the night. We flew delta and thier last flight didnt give us enough time to land and re board, so we got an early AM flight which also saved us 300 dollars... not bad.

Here is the list of all the crap  belongings I lugged around LOL

2 suitcases, 4 carryons (diaper bag, backpack, pump bag, Ethans backpack), 2 carseats, 1 double seat sttroller, and a duffel bag, and 2 children.

Ethan did roll his backpack for 10% OF THE TIME LOL

The next morning we woke up at 3am and we were ready to go (yay jet lag) but our flight was at 6am so we waited around some. Channel searched on American t.v.

We then had two comercial flights, one was like 4 hours long the other was 2 hours? Something like that. Ethan did well on both flights. Only one incident was when we all went to the bathroom. When it was my turn he took off to his seat alone. Luckly when I was done, he had made it to his actual seat.

He only had a new tattoo on his leg that he gladly gave himself. And he wanted my middle seat so he could continue siting next to the poor man in our row. Which he thought was going to be his new best friend...

We then arrived in AZ, Joshs parents picked us up and it was so nice to be home. It was defiantly worth the long trip. :)
