Busy busy

So the movers came last Monday. Since Josh is in ALS school I had to handle it myself.
It wasn't too bad.

We had boxes everywhere!

We are almost done unpacking. I cant wait to get all these empty boxes and packaging paper out of our house! But everything is coming along nicely! We will take pictures once everything is set up. But we are very happy with our house! :)

Not much else is new. Josh is still doing school and busy with that. I have been focusing on unpacking during the days and cleaning up the messes Ethan makes while I unpack. I unpacked all my sewing and craft things the other nigtht.

For fall festival we are dressing up as, Woody, Buzz and Bo peep from Toy Story! I couldnt find a Bo Peep costume so I made it. I think it turned out well! I have to take it in a few inches prob. But I know my Granny would be proud lol.

I have a little long sleeved cover up to wear over it. And still have to make the staff and bonnet.

Cant believe 3 years have past! 3! Its sad to see you growing up so fast. But so exciting seeing you change and learn news things! We love you!

ALS and other stuff

So Josh is currently in ALS (Airman Leadership School) so he is crazy busy with school all day everyday of the week. He will be doing this instead of going into his normal job for 6 more weeks. Haven't done it but it seems to be like college, tests, lots of homework/studying and projects ect. 

We are hanging in there. Right when I thought I would go crazy in a house with NOTHING, trying to entertain Ethan all day, we got word our stuff and car arrived to Italy!

So Monday they will be delivering our belongings! Finally get our bed, craft supplies, can do sewing again, will have all my kitchen supplies, can make mashes potatoes! The good things are unending! Not having your stuff for 3 months really stinks!!!

So good by rental furniture and empty house! We are looking forward to settle in! Finally!

Trip To Our Neighborhood Italian Grocery Store

We needed to purchase some white bio gradable bags for our food wastes. So Ethan and I headed over to the local grocery store. Its not too far away. But it was alittle hot!!

It Is September!

I can't believe it is actually September now! So crazy that we are now in Italy. And even crazier how much time has flown by since Josh got home in January. We got orders February, went through tons of hoops. Flew out in July. Time moves fast!

Also Ethan will be turning 3 in two weeks! 3!! I cant even believe it! He is getting so big!

We started potty training this week. It has been gradually progressing. Right now we are just focusing on going in the potty. We got jelly beans for him. ANd he gets one if he goes. If he sees them he can pretty much go on demand lol!

His birthday is the 15th. Not sure what we will be doing. I hope we get our stuff! Still waiting to receive all our belongings! Right now we have loaner furniture from base. And loaner silverware/pots and pans. We are just really ready to get our stuff and start settling into our house. 

Ethan has been really excited about his birthday. He asks a few times a day for cake and friends coming over for his bday lol. We told him we will tell him when its his bday.

This week Josh starts Airman Leadership School (ALS). So he will busy with homework and learning for about 7 weeks. Then he graduates! Im very proud and excited for him. I know he will do well!

Eating Out

So the count is 5 pizzas and 5 gelatos since I have been here in Italy. LOL. 

We have had the chance to eat at different pizzareas. And gone to many different geltao shops. 

The pizza is really good. They serve you this big personal pizza size. You can actually eat the whole thing all to yourself in one sitting. But unlike the US it will not stuff you or make you feel sick or bloated. Maybe because its all homemade?

Josh has tried a few different dishes here. I havent been that adventurous yet lol. Ive gotten 4 cheese pizzas and one pizza with, cheese, ricotta and spinach. Ill try more things soon!
