Ethans newest words

 

Speech has really helped Ethan to start up his talking. He says a lot of words and signs now. His newest thing is saying Choo Choo and then signing train. Its so fun. Cracks me up everytime!

Monday Monday

So another week begins. Another week down. Things are going well here. Ethan still has his moments. But it seems he only breaks down when he is really tired or wants something really bad. Like tonight for example:

After dinner Ethan was playing with his cars and I was cleaning up. Then I decided we would go walk and check the mail. Ethan already had his bath for the night. He was looking all cute in his zip up car jammies. As we walked down the steps to head to the mail box. He decided he was going to mow with his mower the whole way there. It was really cute. I even laughed.

After I grabbed the mail. I noticed Ethan never stopped at the mailbox. Instead he was happily heading down the col di sac street. I guess he wanted to mow the whole base. Who knows what was in his mind. I stopped him and tried turning his mower toward the house. But he did not like that idea. 

Instead he had a huge melt down and was rolling around on the road... Who knows what people were thinking. If any were watching. It was rough, and after a few more melt downs we made it inside.

Now looking back it was pretty funny lol. Josh thought it was hilarious.

Josh came on skype tonight but the connection over there wasnt very good. So we couldnt skype. Ethan was all excited too. He always runs over and asks daddy daddy? He loves seeing him and hearing him. Even if Josh just talks on the mic without video, Ethan knows its his dad.


A few days ago he was on webcame and Ethan showed Josh every car (almost) that he owned. LOL hes like dadda dadda, car car, vrooomm and he rolled it on the desk, then he showed him the next one and the next one lol. It was very funny.

Visit from the grandparents

My Grandparents from AZ came to visit Ethan and I this week. He had so much fun with them. Of course he had to show off his collection of cars. And scare grandma with his new rubber snake! AHHAa. We had a good time eating at a few restaurants for dinner. Watching Ethan play and entertain us and going to the park. And of course some shopping. Ethan is also getting 3 teeth right now. He isint fussy or grumpy but very very slobbery. So here are some pics from our week that flew by.

Fall??

Today was such a nice day! And it feels and smells like fall! I cant belive it. Made me feel very happy. Because knocking down another season makes us just that much closer to having Josh back home.

Not much exciting happend today. Ethan and I went and a nice walk before dinner. And he decided he wanted to help hold the leash. My grandparents from AZ will be arriving in an hour or less. Im excited to have some company around. :)

Fun with Friends

Today Ethans bud Aiden came over to play. His parents went out to celebrate thier 4th anniversary. We had fun. the boys played cars, played outside and we all sat on the couch and ate rainbow goldfish.

While outside Ethan was mowing the grass. And then he decided to start running/mowing towards the park. So Aiden and I had to go catch him. Then we went on the swings. It was a good day. 

Daycare

Ethan started a new daycare last week. Since I have a set scheduled. I found a really nice lady and she has a nice house and set up for the kids. She also dose all kinds of activities with the kids. I really think Ethan is enjoying himself. 

Thrifty Tuesday

So I went to the thrift store on my lunch break. I was only able to be there for about
10 min, since I went home first to let my dog out, eat and talk to Josh for our 15 min.

I found a cute little kitchen. My friends son has the door one. So I got him that it was 5 bucks
and then I got him a lawn mower for 4. Good deals. I also got him about 6 pairs of shorts.

I am keeping the kitchen and mower for outside. Since he has only one other outside toy
his Coupe Car.

Ethans Newest Thing

I thought Id blog about Ethans newest thing before I forget. Ethan is all into dipping his food now. So he loves to dip his veggies in ranch and his hotdogs in ketchup. And sometimes he gets alittle dipping excited and dips all his food in the ranch or ketchup. But hey at least he is eating all his food. Thats sometimes a challenge with a toddler!
