Whats going on?

Italy

So we have orders to Italy. And it still has not hit us. Probably because we have a lot of paperwork stress to still get done. Waiting on one more major paperwork. Then we can get the ball rolling and set up a pick up date for all our household things, notify our housing people we are moving out, get our visas, Ect.

Its been kind of stressful thinking off all the things that will need to be done. Yet watching the weeks pass by but there is nothing we can do yet. "Hurry up and wait". Is def the military motto.

A lot of people have asked me how I feel about moving to Italy. But to be honest it has not hit me or registered at all. Like I said above. Right now we have just been focusing on getting passports, and turning in lots of paperwork. I think it will hit us once they are FINALLY done with all our paperwork and we get a move out date. I cant wait till then, lets have a party when it happens...

But we got orders to Aviano. I joined the spouses group and have read up on a lot of info. Will be a whole different lifestyle over there. They dont have on base housing. So we will have 30 days to find a house to rent. We are excited to find a place that we get to pick. Lots of other changes and adventures that will come along the way. But will be more ready to think about it once all this paperwork is done. Def. not at the fun part of Pcsing right now. lol

Happy 4th Anniversary! Love you!

Hard to believe Josh and I have been  married 4 years April 5th! We will be in Hawaii during it for our alone vacation. We didnt even realize while planning for our vacation. Until Josh realized it one day lol. So it works out. 4 years married and this summer will be 7 years together total. Pretty crazy how time goes so fast.

I made this video for Josh. Posted it and made it early since we will be gone. :)

Joshs Journey Home

At one of Joshs stops heading home from deployment. They were greated
by the pease greeters. This def brought tears to my eyes. Made me so happy!

Homecoming

Teresa, Nate, Ethan and Bri
About to become deployment survivors

Decided to watch the plane land

We were really happy!

The plane is in the distance

                                                              And landed!!!

Loading off the plane! PTL!

We found Josh.
And Teresa anxiously looking for Dave.

Together again!

Its been almost 2 months since Josh has been home. Thought I would update. The homecoming day was full of nervousness and happiness! Im so thankful for all the family visits and good friends I have here. They all made it  easier. And to God for getting us through it also one day at a time. The 6.5 mths went pretty fast. But it was still hard having Josh away. This time around Ethan knew his dad the whole time. Its been a much easier transition. We are so glad to have him home.

And Happy to say, We survived our Second Deployment!

And here is our first homecoming, just to go down memory lane.

And thanks to my friend Kristen who was there with me both years for support and took our pics!

Looking back

Our first married Christmas I bought this Christmas memories book. Each year you put a photo
from that years Christmas, and then on the other side of the page it has a whole bunch of questions
so you can rem the details of that year.

This is our 4th married Christmas. Hard to believe. Time always seems to seep away.

Here are pics from each page from the past.

Our first married Christmas
My Mom, Dad and sisters came down to SD to visit us!

Our Second Christmas. Ethans first Christmas.
He was about 3.5 mths. We celebrated at home.
Josh deployed a few weeks later.

Third Christmas. Met up with Joshs family and
                                          grandparents in Florida.
